European fans will be at Rock in Rio for free

One of the biggest music events in Brazil, Portugal and Spain, Rock in Rio goes back to it's home city in 2011, Rio de Janeiro, after 20 years.

One of the biggest music events in Brazil, Portugal and Spain, Rock in Rio is back to it’s home city, Rio de Janeiro, after 20 years. In this timelapse the event also grew big in Lisbon and Madrid. In Portugal it is a hit, reason why local sponsors of the event (Embratur, Millennium BCP Bank, TV SIC, radio RFM, the website Sapo and the newspaper Diário de Notícias) will take 330 Portuguese to make the most of this experience at the original Rock in Rio, in Rio de Janeiro.

Thanks to these partners, an exclusive plane left Lisbon on September 22, stopped in Madrid and took the winners to the opening of Rock in Rio. The lucky travellers of this 10th edition of the event will make this trip thanks to their participation in activations and promotional stunts held in Portugal and Spain by main supporting brands.

As many may expect, the party started in the flight (of course!). A DJ played in a ‘plane-party’ during the 8-10 hours flight. When in Rio, participants will enjoy 4 days of pure amusement. The prize includes a round trip of 4 days to Rio, transfers from airport to a 5* hotel and then to the City of Rock, the space built especially to the event.
