In a bid to revive the romance of handwritten letters, French champagne maker Veuve Clicquot has sent a roving mail truck to tour the US to encourage people to pen letters to their family and loved ones.
Painted in the brand’s signature bright yellow, it pays tribute to its history and honors Madame Clicquot, who took over the brand after her husband’s passing in the 1800s. She communicated with suppliers and agents through letters which bore her distinctive handwriting.
Aside from being a novel way of bringing back the old-fashioned act of letter writing, the truck helps to spread awareness of the brand.
Visitors can look forward to snapping photographs in its photobooth, live music by a DJ, and performances by illusionists and digital caricaturists.
The truck is currently on the road til October, and will make an appearance at hotels and restaurants across the US.
True to its name, it will serve the brand’s signature Yellow label and Rosé champagne.
If you’re in the US, you can follow the truck’s journey on Facebook and Instagram to find out whether it’ll be in your.
